On Tribe: What are 2-5 things you have learned about finding your community??
- That there are others out there with similar passions, goals, interests. Who knew? I’m not the only crazy one out there!
- Runners and Foodies go hand-in-hand. Running makes you really hungry, also known as RUNgry! Why settle for mediocre foods when you can fuel your body with nutritious and delicious food and while hanging out with your tribe? That’s what the #bRUNchtribe is all about. Embracing yourself through running, food, and community.
- Runners come in all shapes and sizes. There are fast runners, slow runners, speedy runners, distance runners. We may be different in our abilities but we all have a “passion” for the sport (which could very well be a “love hate” passion). We may have different reasons as to why we run, but we all run.

On Food: When you fall off track with your food choices, how do you get back on?
Cortney: Make better food choices. Food that has whole ingredients. I try to avoid process foods as much as possible. But, like I said, if I have something that isn’t “healthy” it isn’t the end of the world. Next meal, I’ll make better choices.

On Love: How do you balance self care into your schedule?
Cortney:I sure try. Sometimes life happens and I don’t always get that run in… but, if I miss a workout I always try to make up for it next time. Run a little longer, workout a little harder.
